Principal Partner — David commenced his accounting career as an audit trainee in Anjous, Uku, Eweka and Co Chartered Accountants Benin City in 1983. He worked with S.S. Afemikhe and Co Chartered Accountants, Lagos from 1988 to 1990. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) in 1991 and joined Guinness Nigeria Plc as an Internal Auditor.

From 1992 to 1993, David served as an Internal Auditor and then as Operations Manager (1994–1998) at Commercial Trust Bank Limited in Onitsha. He also worked as a Consultant for Deo–Tseena Consulting and was General Manager, Finance and Investments at Securities Trading & Investments Limited before founding David Odiwo and Co (Chartered Accountants).

David has over 20 years of post-qualification experience spanning Auditing, Consultancy, Taxation, Banking, and Financial Services. His professional history includes value-for-money audits for major oil & gas firms and capital market institutions.

He holds an HND in Accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). David is also a member of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).

Partner Henry is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Henry has over twenty years post qualification experience in Auditing, Banking, Taxation, Consultancy and information technology. He qualified as a chartered Accountant in 1991 (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) and worked with KPMG Nigeria from 1989 to 1992. He joined Zenith Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1992 and took a bow in 1998. Henry has worked on numerous projects within and outside Nigeria.

His experience also includes training and strategic business solutions. He holds an HND in Accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State. He has also attended numerous courses both within and outside the country. Henry is also the ministering pastor of a prison ministry which specializes in rehabilitation of ex-convicts.

Audit Manager —Ambrose is a Certified Forensic Accountant and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Ambrose was the in- country Fund Raiser for Sight Savers International in 2012 and was the Financial Controller Lemma Energy Resources Limited (an Oil and Gas Infrastructural Contracting Company) from 2007 to 2011before joining our firm.

Ambrose has carried out various investigations and forensic auditing as an Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) consortium partner on accounts of debtors of numerous banks in Nigeria. He has also appointed Auditor by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and has conducted Capital Adequacy Exercises on five Nigerian based Capital Market Operators in Lagos, Abuja and Bauchi.

Ambrose has carried out Post Examination Monitoring Exercises on five Micro-Finance Banks on behalf of the Central Bank of Nigeria. (CBN). Ambrose has a 1985 B.ED Degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and has attended numerous post graduate courses within and out- side Nigeria.

External Consultant — Solomon is a 1984 B.sc Economics graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He also has an MBA degree from the University of Benin. Solomon has over twenty seven years post graduate experience in Banking and Finance, Consultancy and Management. He has attended various courses within and outside the country.

Audit Manager — Nnamdi is a Seasoned Professional Banker with over three decades of experience in Banking Operations and Credit Management. He is an Experienced Finance Professional in the Commercial and Microfinance Banking Industry with practical and technical knowledge in all aspects of banking operations.

External IT Consultant —Danja Surajo Umar is an experienced IT Consultant with a strong academic background and over 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, IT infrastructure, and web technologies. With a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a proven record across educational institutions and public sector agencies, Danja brings a strategic approach to integrating technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data security within financial environments.

His expertise spans secure network configuration, structured cabling, and custom web development using frameworks such as ASP.NET, PHP, and React—ensuring accounting systems are both scalable and secure. Danja’s teaching and administrative roles have equipped him with the skills to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, making him a valuable bridge between IT and finance teams.

Senior Audit Manager — Joseph has an HND in Accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi and an MBA in Financial Management from the Lagos State University. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Joseph has over sixteen year’s cognate experience in the Nigerian Finance sub-sector.

He has attended numerous courses both locally and internationally and is currently our Audit Manager.
